I can't believe I have never heard this poem. It's powerful and emotional at the same time. It expresses her emotions in a phenomenally moving way. I feel like so many girls could easily be able to relate to her. Everyone in there live has problems like this, they may not be exactly the same, but there similar, and in the way she says it. You can feel the real pain in her voice. The references she makes to beauty really make me rethink the world. My favorite part of it was "Is this what it means to be a woman?" Is it?
