A highly awaited contest was about to begin. The green shirts of Ireland shouting and getting pumped up, dwarfed by the sounds of a huge german crowd in attendance and the confidence of the german players buzzing through their bodies, and then the match began. There were so many German chances throughout the first half including 7 shots and 2 on target, but the most important breakthrough of the Germans match came with a Toni Kroos goal in the 71st minute, with a streak of brilliance, Toni Kroos was able to single handedly carry Germany to a win, or so they thought.
With 4 minutes left, Ireland looked to have lost another close and hard fought game, until John O'shea, Irelands center back scored and tied the game at 1. I went berserk and so did all the irish players, because drawing with Germany in a competitive match is not an easy thing to do. Well done Ireland!
